Wow. Like, I seriously have no idea where to start with my Review of My Favorite Mistake by Katherine L Evans she has blown me away!
You know when you read a book and you can just feel and hear the author telling you the story! It's so vivid and real that you can tell heartache, blood, sweat and tears have gone into the creation of that book.
I fucking adore this story, I resonated with the characters, I could visually see them, I felt connected to the author on such a deep level that she broke my heart and built me back together.
Yes, there are parts in the story where I wanted to slap Connor and basically tell him to pull his shit together and just tell her how it is, but just like a real life situation of PTSD the person has to follow a process, he has to come to terms with who he is and what he wants. That he is good enough! You can tell that this story is built from experience and it's built with great understanding of sensitive matters.
Honestly I can't wait to read more from Katherine L Evans, it's not as dark as I would usually read, but it was so powerful!
I'm a true believer in destiny and following your path and I can totally see the author's core values and love come through in her words, she is amazing and she doesn't even know it!
I only discovered Katherine recently after working with another author and I'm honoured to have connected with her. Her writing and passion for creating in-depth characters is incredible.
You will not be disappointed with this second chance romance at all!

Favourite Character
The main couple are fucking incredible, but sideline characters I'm going to have to say Brennan, there is so much more to his story and I can't wait to find out more about his Journey. His loyalty for both Connor and Liza is impeccable but you can see his inner turmoil too!
Favourite Scene
I actually don't want to give too much away because I want you to read it. But it has to be their first kiss!
